At Gray & Amor Ltd we understand the importance of having confidence in the clearly presented information about each stage of your project. This is why we have a clear process to keep you informed from start to finish.

After receiving your enquiry, we will arrange to receive further information where required and arrange a property visit when works well with you.
Once the visit has taken place, we will return an estimate with specification for the works discussed and/or any suggestions about further steps, depending on the project.
Once the estimate meets with your approval, we will send an order form that summarises your booking details and key information such as start date and estimated completion date.
This is accompanied by our Terms and Conditions allowing both contractor and client to be confident on what to expect and services involved.
We then generate the necessary Health and Safety information to comply with CDM Regulations for each and every project.

the Directors behind Gray & Amor

Sam Gray

Sam Gray BSc (Hons) MCIOB: Since leaving secondary education Sam has worked in the construction industry, starting with a background in carpentry before going to gain experience in a number of trades to best understand how each element of the industry operates.

Sam has completed his CIOB (Chartered Institute of Builders) accredited Certificate in Construction Site Management with distinction followed by Graduate Conversion Certificate, then successfully completing his Professional Review to become a member of the CIOB and a Chartered Construction Manager.

Committed to continual learning Sam regularly completes CPD with a particular passion for listed properties and is currently working towards becoming a member of the CIOB Building conservation certification scheme.

George Amor-Hopkinson

From a young age George has had a passion and unique talent for the construction industry.

With a wealth of experience in the industry and strong knowledge of the interconnections between how each trade works, George himself is also a highly skilled carpenter and joiner.

George is professionally qualified with NVQ and City & Guilds and committed to continually perfecting this rare craftsman skill set.

Equipped with an innate ability to perform with whatever material or tool he puts his hands to as well as leading a team on how to do the same, George is excellently placed to ensure the craftsmanship and technical understanding on each project.
